Benzinga Pro's Stocks To Watch For Friday

  • Skyworks (SWKS) - The company reported a Q1 earnings beat and gave stronger-than-expected guidance Thursday afternoon. An item which weighed on the stock more heavily than the earnings report Friday morning, however, was news subsidiaries of competitor Broadcom (AVGO) entered several multi-year deals with Apple (AAPL). Skyworks shares were down 0.6% ahead of the opening bell. Broadcom shares were up about 3%. Given the negative reaction in Skyworks shares following the Broadcom/Apple news, investors had considered Skyworks a possibility to win the contracts.
  • Atlassian (TEAM) - The stock was up 9% amid better-than-expected Q2 results and strong FY20 guidance.
  • Kitov Pharma (KTOV) - Shares of this penny stock were up 20% following news the company received notice of intent to grant a European patent covering use of its NT-219 candidate in combo with EGFR antibodies/inhibitors.
  • Beyond Meat (BYND) - Volatility in this popular name continued Friday morning; the stock was up 4% following a 3% sell off on Thursday. Shares have rallied 70% on little news since the beginning of January. The Benzinga Newsdesk did not see any fundamental news to justify Friday morning's move higher. Beyond Meat has very high short interest: about 40% of the company's float was sold short as of the last check.
  • Square (SQ) - Credit Suisse initiated coverage with an Outperform rating and $84 price target. The stock traded up 1% to just under $70, a price that suggested potential upside of 20% to the firm's price target.
