Jiangsu Sanyou Group Co Ltd, Meinian Onehealth Healthcare (Group) Co., Ltd, Shenzhen Ping An Decheng Investment Co., Ltd., Taiping Guofa (Suzhou) Capital Management Co., Ltd., Huatai Ruilian Fund Management Co., Ltd., Sequoia China Investment Management LLP and Cathay Capital Private Equity SAS are part of a consortium, which has submitted a preliminary non-binding proposal to acquire, iKang Healthcare Group, Inc.

for $22 per ADS. iKang had announced receipt an offer of $17.80 per ADS on August 31, 2015 from founder, Chairman and CEO Ligang Zhang. iKang shares fell 1.41% Friday, closing at $16.77.

Shares of Cyclacel Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

surged higher Friday, on unconfirmed market chatter that the company might be a takeover target for Martin Shkreli and Kalabios Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

. A spokesperson for Cyclacel was not available for comment. Cyclacel rose 47.83% Friday, closing at $1.02.

is said to be preparing a sale of its Merial animal health unit, and is working with Lazard on the deal, according to sources as reported by
