S&P 500 futures traded at an all-time high Friday morning, with the September contract printing 2003.75 at its best level ever. Since the August 8 lows, S&P 500 futures are up slightly more than six percent, and up 12 out of 16 days in that period. To put a six percent move in 16 trading days into a different perspective, it would equate to a 150 percent move over the course of a year. Of the four down days, the biggest down day over this latest run has been 2.00 points, or one tenth of one percent.
