NiSource Gas Transmission & Storage Changes Name to Columbia Pipeline Group

NiSource Gas Transmission & Storage has changed its name to Columbia Pipeline Group (CPG). The new name fully integrates the company with the established Columbia brand that makes up a majority of our 15,000-mile pipeline operations—Columbia Gas Transmission and Columbia Gulf Transmission. It's a proud day for us, as the Columbia brand has been around for more than 50 years and is recognized as premiere, safe and reliable— similarities and synergies that all of the Columbia distribution and transmission companies have. These characteristics associated with the Columbia brand and our commitment to our customers, employees and the communities we serve will remain unchanged. CPG will continue to support the communities in its footprint through significant investments in its natural gas transmission system infrastructure and by actively supporting organizations that make these communities a better place to live and do business. Combined, the companies operate about 15,000 miles of interstate natural gas pipeline and 37 storage fields, delivering over 1 trillion cubic feet of natural gas per year.
