CEMEX, S.A.B. de C.V.
CX announced Thursday, that its
subsidiary CEMEX Latam Holdings, S.A. has completed
the construction of the first phase of a new cement grinding plant in
Ciudad Sandino, Managua.
CLH invested approximately U.S.$30 million for infrastructure
procurement and the installation of the first cement grinding mill, with
an annual production capacity of approximately 220,000 metric tons. The
inauguration ceremony took place this Thursday, August 27, at the new
facility and was attended by the President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega,
and the Chief Executive Officer of CEMEX, Fernando A. Gonzalez.
