Regal Entertainment Says Steve Bunnell To Join As SVP Chief Content And Programming Officer

Regal Entertainment Group RGC revealed Steve Bunnell would join it as Senior Vice President, Chief Content and Programming Officer. According to the company, Steve brings in a wealth of knowledge to the company having served most recently as Executive Vice President and General Sales Manager of Universal Theatrical Distribution.

Regal Entertainment said that before joining the company, Steve was the Executive Vice President of Global Content Programming for Cinemark Theatres. In his career, he held positions at The Weinstein Company, as well as Loews Theatres.

The company's President and COO, Greg Dunn, commented "With over 30 years in the industry, Steve will be a great asset to our leadership team at Regal. His expertise and talent will be valuable as we build upon our success and drive growth and strong performance for the future."

Steve would be based in the Woodland Hills office and maintaining an office in Knoxville's corporate headquarters. The company indicated that he would join the Company on June 14.

Shares of the company traded 5.79 percent down on Friday.
