3 After-Hours Movers: Earnings & Clinical Data Pushing Stocks Up

U.S. stocks closed lower on Monday trading, as investors anticipated the first presidential debate between candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

After the market closed, SYNNEX Corporation SNX reported Q3 results. EPS of $1.73 and revenue of $3.67 billion (up 10.2 percent year over year) beat the Street’s consensus by $0.17 and $180 million, respectively. Management expects Q4 revenue of $3.83 billion to $3.93 billion, above estimates for $3.77 billion, and EPS of $2.06 to $2.11, also ahead of expectations for $1.93. The company raised its quarterly dividend by 25 percent, to $0.25 per share. Shares of SYNNEX traded up 5.25 percent on Monday afternoon.

Thor Industries, Inc. THO gained about 1.2 percent after the bell rang, driven by a top and bottom line beat. Q4 EPS of $1.57 came in $0.24 ahead of expectations, while revenue of $1.29 billion beat estimates by $20 million.

Kite Pharma Inc KITE rose 6.5 percent in Monday’s after-hours session after the company announced impressive results for its Phase 1/2 clinical trial for KTE-C19 in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL).

The product candidate displayed a 76 percent objective response rate in patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) who had failed to respond to chemo. In addition, the drug showed 47 percent complete remissions (CR) among this group.
