Wheat Futures Little Changed, IGC Raises Output

September Chicago Wheat is trading at 400, down 1 1/4 cents/bushel. December Chicago Wheat is trading at 422 1/2, down 1 1/4 cents/bushel. September Kansas City Wheat is trading at 404 1/2 , down 1 cent/bushel. December Kansas City Wheat is trading at 431, down 1 1/4 cents/bushel. Wheat futures are trading steady to lower. The International Grains Council (ICG) raised their estimate for global wheat production to 743 million tonnes versus 735 million tonnes in their previous forecast. The group said the global wheat harvest will be a record but there were some concerns about wheat quality. The USDA reported on Thursday that wheat export sales for the current marketing year as of August 18th are now 44.7 percent of the USDA forecast versus the five year average of 44.5 percent.
