Tim Seymour spoke on CNBC's Stock Pops & Drops about a 3.57 percent increase in price in Trina Solar TSL. The stock traded higher after the CEO said that the company can't keep up with the demand. Seymour has a long position in this name, and he is planning to stay long.

EBay EBAY jumped 2.98 percent on the news of a possible purchase by Google GOOGL GOOG. The management denied the news during the Friday's trading session. Brian Kelly finds it interesting that the stock bounced off $50, and he sees that price level as a support.

Newmont Mining NEM dropped 1.64 percent on the news that it is selling 44 percent in its Mexican Penmont joint venture. Guy Adami doesn't think that the sale was the only reason because the whole market traded lower, and the sector will be tough to own if the U.S. dollar stays strong and gold stays weak. He believes that $20 is the absolute line in the sand.

Pete Najarian explained that Take-Two Interactive Software TTWO delayed some of its releases, and as a result, it declined 2.73 percent. He thinks that the best strategy would be to stay away from this name and to wait for a better entry point.
