Lean Hog Futures Little Changed

Friday's USDA Hog slaughter was 411,000 head versus 393,000 head a year ago. Lean Hogs traded choppy on Friday after the USDA cold storage report came out. June hogs were trading at 83.87, up 0.10. July Hogs were trading at 83.95 up 0.10. and August Hogs were trading at 83.87, down 0.20. October Hogs were trading at 74.20, up 0.27. All U.S. Livestock futures are closed on Monday in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
