June S&P 500 Index futures are trading lower by nine points at 2088.25 in Tuesday's session. The index briefly crossed the pyschological 2100 level in premarket trading (2103.75), but came up shy of that early in the session topping out at 2101.50 before turning lower for good.
All but one of the top ten componetns of the index are in the red. The lone winner is Amazon.com
AMZN shares, which are trading higher by $7.80 at $720.04. Earlier it made a new all time high at $724.23.
The biggest loser is Exxon Mobil
XOM shares, which are trading lower by $1.13 at $88.88.
